Pressure Point Control Tactics

This course is open to anyone (students, families and friends) over the age of 14,
who would like to learn easy yet highly effective physical skills for dealing with violent or aggressive people.

• This course has been designed to provide the user with a reliable, safe means of controlling high levels of resistance.
• Techniques revolve around the use of nervous system pain points and motor control points to create pain compliance, motor dysfunction, and possible mental stunning in aggressive or violent subjects.
• Highly effective, court defensible techniques are taught for use in dynamic situations.
• Participants learn methods of safely overcoming passive and active resistance, as well as valuable skills necessary for effective officer survival, weapon disarming and control tactics.
• This course composes the core of many of our other defensive tactics programs, as the skills learned within can be transferred to any confrontational situation.
• This course is the same course taught to thousands of leading law enforcement and military agencies worldwide,
  and is based upon leading edge Medical, Legal and Tactical research.

Our Staff

Freedom TKD is a national training academy, the instructors certified by both PPCT Management Systems (PPCT), and the National Law Enforcement Training Centre, Kansas City, U.S.A. (N.L.E.T.C.).  We are a member of the American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers (A.S.L.E.T.), as well as the Law Enforcement Bodyguard Association (L.E.B.A.I.).  Our instructors have provided training for many agencies and professionals across Canada.  We offer Basic Security Training (BST) for security licensing certification in B.C., and are approved to provide security patrol training by the province of British Columbia, Security Programs, Police Services Division, Ministry of Public Safety, and Solicitor General.

Our Programs

Professional Defensive Tactics and Use of Force training help to protect officers, citizens, and subjects from physical harm or tragedy.  Professional, standardized training, certification, and documentation also serve to protect officers, supervisors and their agencies from potential litigation.  Documented training helps satisfy agency’s needs for court defensible Use of Force training, while serving to minimize litigation risks by assisting in the process to satisfy the demands of Due Diligence.
